As the sun came up over Moscow -- one day after Russians celebrated "National Unity" with military parades and three days after our segment of the ring was clogged with buses bearing anti-American demonstrators, and Nashi members gathered outside the embassy -- we sat on the floor and watched Obama announce to a crowd of glowing faces in Chicago that America can change, and will change. And that we all must help. His tone was humble, not triumphant. What an inspiring beginning.
